Major overhauls

Diesel engine repairs and major overhauls have been our focus and key competence since day one. Throughout the years we came across with large variety of different types of engines getting invaluable experience for our technicians. All needed technical information is thoroughly examined and systematized for future projects. Lots of special tools are prepared to fit your engine.

Main services available both onboard and in our workshop:

• Cylinder head overhaul and pressure test
• Cylinder liner honing and sealing surface machining
• Piston inspection and overhaul. Excessive wears on fire surfaces and piston ring grooves are usually reconditioned inhouse utilising our laser cladding technology
• Connecting rod inspection and overhaul. Ovality or damages to big end bore are thoroughly examined and reconditioned whenever possible
• Fuel equipment overhaul. Both stand alone and inline pumps can be overhauled as well as fuel injectors and common rail equipment
• All auxiliary equipment such water and oil pumps get the same precise look.
• Air cooler overhaul and pressure test. Ultrasonic cleaning machines of different sizes are available to fit most common air cooler types
• Crankshaft replacement and engine recovery after major failures
• Inhouse testing facilities for engines up to 1000kW
